“Superman 2050″

Imagine a story of epic proportions performed by seven actors on a single, 21 square foot platform, where the performers rely solely on their bodies and voices to create all the props, scenery, soundtrack and characters. Now imagine they are telling a story of Superman fighting against Lex Luthor to save the Midwest’s beloved High Speed Rail system!

Will Superman save the Midwest’s beloved rail network from the evil plans of Lex Luthor? More importantly, will one of the actors fall off this tiny platform? Come see this high-energy spectacle and find out!

Creation History:

“Superman 2050″ was created by a group of seven performers at Links Hall in Chicago. The lead creator, Marc Frost, was awarded the six-month Lisa Dershin LinkUp Residency from Fall 2010 through Winter 2011. Under the name of Theater Un-Speak-Able, the group explored two central themes comic books and high speed rail, which led to the creation of a 35-minute length piece of physical theater.
